I have about 4 cookbooks I use all the time and wanted a couple of the book shelves to put on the outside of my cupboard to store them more easily, and make them easier access to grab. I had my handyman screw them in tightly and they worked perfectly! I was worried that the books might tilt out because they are spiral bound and not children's books, but they don't and I have had no problems at all with them staying put.I got these for my daughter’s room and absolutely love them. They were super easy to put up and have made a nice place to store my daughter’s book & wii games. They are durable, sturdy, and super easy to put up. They were advised as for a nursery but work great in just about every room. They are simple, making a good fit into any themed room.Overall, I really am happy with these shelves. They are just what we needed and have made a nice touch to my daughter’s room.These are very cute shelves BUT cheap. We’ve only had them up about a week and they continue to fall off the wall which is really dangerous when they’re in a nursery! The metal notch that the screws go into that hold it on the wall keeps separating from the shelf itself so when the shelf falls, the screws stay in the wall, but everything else is on the floor. I wish I would have spent a little bit more money on better shelves. My husband used wood glue when the first one came off the wall and so far it’s done the trick but the other shelf has now failed in the same way and it’s just a hazard. Shouldn’t have to fix a brand new shelf.Exactly what I needed. Love the sturdy drywall mounts that came with it too. Feeling good about this purchase.I am not very happy right now because I have four decent size holes in my wall now trying to install them. The anchors provided for these shelves have no give to them, so when you go to hammer them into the wall, they just push through the dry wall and spin in the dry wall, creatIng a big hole. I now have to mud and repaint my just freshly painted wall. I am going to try and use a different anchor.As far as the shelves go, they are very nice and will be better once I get them hung on the wall for books.Smaller than expectedI received the shelves, one was OK but the other one was defective as shown in the pictures. Overall it is beautiful shelf but hoping it was coming in better qualityLightweight, just as expected from pictures.
