Good intent and was almost a complete and useable kit for mounting. Almost.- Works pretty well once installed.- The sliding hanger hoops don't slide very well and mostly impossible to move if you have any weight on them.- Can only use 2 stud mount holes when mounting to a standard 2x4" stud. The plate mount holes are spaced at 2" c/c centers and the 2x4 is only 1 5/8" wide.- Screws provided for the wood stud mounting are TOO LARGE for the plastic expansion anchors. If you use plastic anchors get some larger ones that will work with the screws provided. These inserts spin out instead of the screw going into the anchor.*** I finally got this wall mounted tri-fold drying rack up and we are making use of it. However it wasn't without a little drama and challenge. This wall mounted rack unit comes with four mounting holes in the base mounting/pivot plate for wall mounting to wooden studs with the four special screws supplied. That looks good. But wait, Only problem is that the holes are centered at 2" and the wall stud is only 1 5/8" wide, so, best case, only two of the four screws will find wood on the other side of the sheet rock. OK, I should be fine mounting two of them to the stud and the other two into the wallboard with the inserts provided. Problem is that those two sheet rock mounted inserts just spin instead of tightening up properly with a screw. It looks like there is a design issue with the insert. Where there is usually a nice rib feature to keep the insert from turning there is almost nothing. Very little rib to bite into the drilled out sheetrock. So as soon as the screw takes a bit of torque to run in the plastic insert just spins in the hole. A closer look and I think the plastic inserts are for a smaller size screw than what has been provided here for the stud mounting. So go find an insert for the large screw provided for mounting. Use those bigger inserts for mounting.And there was a bit of mess getting the wallboard screws and insets back out. I decided finally to drill mounting holes into the adapter plate that would normally be glued onto a concrete wall. At least I hope that no one ever tries to just glue this on to the wallboard. No strength there.I drilled the mounting plate holes at 1 1/8" horizontal spacing so I can have all four screws going into the stud. I used a countersink on those holes so the smaller screws I use to mount the plate would be completely flush. So what should have been a 15 minute job took a little detour and a bit longer. This drying unit should work well for you if you don't damage it by overloading it. Just remember that a pair of wet jeans that weighs 4 pounds quickly escalates that force once it is hanging from 1 foot or 2 foot or especially 3 foot extension from your base mount. The six sliding hanger holders in each arm do not slide very well in their slot. I had anticipated perhaps a nylon slide but can't see anything there except metal-to-metal. I expect that you will learn to space them out before you start loading your hangers in since once there is some pressure they don't like to slide at all.
