Wall mounting hardware needs a rework, they ask you to attach a bracket with a lip to the wall and then hang it on that, but the metal is flimsy, and creates an offset that I had to stick some foam behind the bottom between the rack and the wall to keep it level while mounted. After a few days I checked behind the unit and the bracket was starting to bend. Decided to leave it off the wall to avoid a catastrophe if it kept bending and fell. It's not holding that much, a UPS, Unifi Dream Machine SE, Unifi 24 Port POE Switch Enterprise, and UNVR-Pro with 6 3.5" HDD's. The included instructions say it should be rated for 120 lbs, and after taking all the equipment out removing the rack from the wall and re-installing it, I weighed the whole thing including the box and it's 82 lbs. So I shouldn't be getting sag. Also, safety concern, we can't ground the door using provided hardware. The instructions reference the existing of their ground wire kit on page 1, but no where during assembly does it tell you how to use it. Generally you want the ground lug in the front of the box to bond with the door ground lug, which would be just fine, except on this unit they put the ground lug in the back, and the provided cable is not long enough, so I have to go to store to buy my own grounding cable. You can use it to bridge the back lug to a UPS ground mount if you happen to have a UPS in there, but those are heavy and again it's only rated for 120lbs, (mine is already bending at 80) which means the rest of your tech better be super lightweight. I'd recommend this manufacturer to make the mounting rail thicker metal so it's more sturdy, and maybe optional rubber bumpers to stick to the back to level the offset from the wall. The instruction manual should be updated to tell people they will need their own pliers or wrench to hold the flange nuts still while you crank the hex screws with their included Allen key. The instructions should also explain how to use the ground kit, and you should include a longer ground cable so the back lug can actually reach the door, or maybe use a second lug in the front near the door so the back one can go to your UPS or dedicated ground near your mount location. Overall the rack looks nice, has good ventilation, and the included fans work just fine even though they are always at max, there's no way to control whether they are full blast or medium or low, you get either On or Off unless you invest in a fan controller unit and you're handy with wiring it all up. Final score 3/5.
