Light Oak Wooden Mallet 20-Pocket Free-Standing Magazine Rack – Organize Magazines, Books & Newspapers in Living Room, Office or Bedroom

I purchased this rack to hold sheet music in my study, which is finished and furnished with an oak theme. The color is a good match for the rest of the room. Unlike some reviewers, I was able to assemble it without additional drilling.While this rack looks fine from a few feet away, the construction and finish could be described as "Modern American Minimal". The finish is rough to the touch, and the backing is thin and attached with a few staples. It is adequate for my intended use, and visitors don't have to see it close up. I wish the slots were wider and could hold thicker magazines.This Magazine Rack is really nice.Good construction pretty sturdy.My only complaint is the pockets arejust not deep enough. You can only get 3 to 4magazines per pocket depending on what magazineyour storing. So if you have a yearly subscription of severalsubscriptions, your going to fill it up fast.This is great for the person who buys different magazines atrandom to keep the coffee table clutter free.We were keeping our music stacked in a cabinet next to our organ. Naturally the music book or sheet was always on the bottom or somewhere in the middle of the stack. Now each music book is shown clearly, and is easily located. A side benefit is that it is a gracious piece of furniture and does not look out of place in our living room. Oh and By the way it is so compact that it would fit in anywhere. Should be SIX stars ... oh well ... we gave it the five!!!I LOVE this! I painted it green and use it to hold papers in my classroom. A con is that it’s not super sturdy and no one can lean on it or it will sway, but it hasn’t fallen over yet!Very sturdy and of good quality. The compartments are roomy to hold multiple pieces of paper and/or files.I bought this for the office. The best thing about the 20 pocket magazine rack was how easy it was to set up. In a matter of minutes we had it put together and filled with literature. It's sturdy, nice looking and the size is perfect. It is large enough to meet our needs but it's narrow and doesn't block the walkway. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it.Very good, sturdy product. Only complaint is that they didn't finish the job. The pilot holes for the feet on one side were not drilled properly, and they weren't drilled at all on the other side so I had to do it myself.Sturdy stand, but as most other reviews mentioned, the screws they supply with kit were too long to hold the feet on. Slots will hold regular and medium sized magazines . Very easy to put together. Nice quality.Love it
