Want to get your boards out of your boat? Traditional wakeboard rack applications for boats require you to have a wakeboard tower. Let us present to you, the Big Air Waketowers Oasis Combo Towerless Rack! This rack does not require a wakeboard tower or pylon to mount, it will attach right to the side of your boat with quick and easy installation. SPECS: Holds one wakeboard, up to 1.25 inch thick and one kneeboard, up to 4.43 inches thick. Billet aluminum construction Fits virtually anywhere on your boat Adjustable width placement for the racks that hold your boards. Max placement is approximately 12 inches. Installation is simple, but you will need the following: Masking Tape 3/8" Drill Bit Finishing Stone bit (grinding ball stone) Red LocTite How much space do you need? You will need about 15 inches of space (front mount to rear mount) to mount the bar to the hull.From the hull to underneath the bar is 3 inches tall. From the hull to the top of the bar stands a total of 5 inches tall. Mounting conditions You can mount horizontal or vertical, as long as you meet the following: There must be access to the inside of the hull to install the mounting hardware. Line of sight is all that is needed.The area must be relatively flat, allowing the 2” diameter mounting plates to secure firmly.The area must be free of wires and clutter for drilling.The hull of the area must be no less than 3/8” thick. How do I check my hull thickness? The most common ways to check the hull thickness is to remove a cup holder, speaker, or other items already installed into the fiberglass. However, we highly recommend checking after you drill for reassurance as well. Access does not need to be line of sight, but you must be able to get your hand to the area to install the backing plates and tighten the mounting bolts.
