This could've been the perfect Entryway Unit but, the right top main- support, was short-legged where it fits into the bottom support to make the right side of the framing for the unit and, the cloth bins are not black, as pictured, they are a very light grey color.PROS: Entryway Storage Unit was shipped & delivered very quickly. Box was well taped up. All of the metal framing pieces, and the metal rack pieces are powder coated well. Every piece, except for one was numbered correctly. The 4 laminated particle shelf boards were numbered correctly and, covered with foam sheets so, there were no digs or scratches on them. All 10-metal powder coated hooks were included. As long as you read, pay attention to the directions, including thinking ahead to how the pieces attach and fit, this is very easy to assemble. The frame and all other parts went together as they should, with one exception.CONS: I think the reason the box was so well taped up, (original clear packing tape on all flaps & seams, then, brown packing tape on only the top flap and, the side seams just below it) was due to the fact that, this unit was a RETURN because of, Part #22 the top piece of, the right-side of the framing, that slides into part #24 and is than, screwed into place, is short legged on one half. The short-legged piece prevents the 2 pieces from being screwed together by both screws on one side of that framing support. I made that framing section work because, I was able to use some foam inside the frame tubing and, by the screw that attaches to part #12 the hook hanging board & part #13 the metal hook rack to the frame in the same section where is short-legged. So, even though the support isn't perfect, there is still some there in that spot. The cloth storage bins for the side spaces on the unit, are shown as black, which was what I wanted and why I purchased this unit. However, the ones that came with the unit I received, are light grey, not the color I wanted at all.Rating: I took a star off for sturdiness, due to the incorrect/damaged frame piece. I took a star off for, easy to assemble, due to the defective frame part, I had to figure out a way to make the part work, anyways. I took 2 stars off of, value for the money, due to, both the frame part issue and the wrong-colored bins. Giving this unit an overall rating, of 3 stars.Final Thoughts: I really shopped around looking for exactly the Entryway Unit I wanted and the one that would look good in my home. So, honestly, I'm aggravated that the Seller didn't replace the incorrect/damaged frame piece when this unit, was originally returned to them, from a prior customers purchase. Instead, they just added extra tape to the box and, resold it "as-new"...with the defective part and all. I had no choice but to figure out how and then, make the incorrect/damaged frame part work out because, with both the return shipping costs & my time, packing it all back up and, shipping it back, just was NOT an option for me, at all. I purchased this particular item because, the main listing picture for the Black & Grey Wash option, showed it included black storage bins. My entryway is part of my Livingroom and, the black bins, would've matched my other furniture and decor. For now, the light grey bins are there but, the color doesn't look right at all, and I don't like them. I will be looking to replace them with, the black bins that I had expected in the first place. While this Entryway Unit is nice and does look pretty good, due to both of the issues, the Unit does end up being overpriced, so, the value for the money isn't all there...IMO.Assembled by myself in a couple of hours. Sturdy and looks great! Tidied up my entry so well. So many hooks and shelves! Everything was labeled and directions were not bad, better than ikea anyways.I was looking for something for my entry way and this is perfect.Love this! It is sturdy and well made for the price.
